Emily and Trent flew me out to Michigan to shoot their wedding. They wanted to get married barefoot in the sand. They chose Emily’s favorite spot where her parents have a vacation home by the Michigan lakes. A quiet resort for people to escape, but on this particular weekend it was overrun by their friends and families. Her sister was the florist and their friend was the DJ. I’ve known Emily forever and the locals opened their doors for people to stay. It had a very friendly wholesome vibe with lots of unique DIY touches and support from the community to pull it off right.
