You went through great lengths to make your wedding perfect and hire a photographer to capture it all. It’s important to display your gorgeous images correctly. Memories fade, digital copies can get lost and technology changes all the time. It’s nice to have a storybook of your big day that never goes out of date! The album becomes a family heirloom that will be around forever and passed down through generations. Digital copies are always included in the wedding package, but it simply doesn’t provide the personalized appeal of a beautiful wedding album.
The quality of these products is superb. I work with a professional printing company that offers great variety and impeccable craftsmanship. The process is simple. You pick the size and cover, I then custom design everything! You don’t have to do a thing. If you would like to choose your photos, that’s fine. Otherwise I can choose the shots I feel are best together to save you the time. You’ll get to approve the final layouts from a proof that I send via email. After the layout is approved, I send the files to the lab which prints, builds and binds your album. It takes about two weeks to design and one week to build. With shipping, you can expect to receive your beautiful book within a month.
My wedding albums range from $1,195 – $1,725 depending on type of cover, paper, and album size. The cost is based on a standard 20 page album, which turns into a 40 page spread. Fewer or more pages can be designed in increments of 10 if necessary.
Album cover options include metal, wood or acrylic. There is also a more traditional choice of Italian leather with an image window. Choose from five options for leather colors and a variety of patterns that can be etched into the leather. There are two types of printing paper, both with a standard archival value of 200 years. Pages are flush mounted with invisible gutters, allowing spreads to lie flat instead of bending toward the seam. This means that images can span both pages without any gaps or blaring creases. Hard pages resist bending and creasing to stand the test of time. Add gold, silver, or black gilding along the pages for a clean, finished look. Options will be discussed and samples shown during our first meeting, as well as the cost breakdown. If an album is desired, a $600 deposit is required when the wedding is booked.
Yes. The parent album is a smaller version of the bride and groom’s album. It is a great gift to say thank you for their love, support, and guidance. In addition, you won’t have to keep lending your album to your parents! Parent albums run about half the price of the original album if no major design changes are required.
